D and incandescent lamp harness continuity by measuring current draw and voltage drop. The EOL Test Software can test the functionality of a wide range of incandescent, halogen, and LED lamps with simple current and voltage configurations. IST currently supplies and maintains EOL test solutions to top OEM automotive manufacturers worldwide such as Audi, Ford, GM, Chrysler, and their Tier 1 suppliers.
Lamp test systems are the key to both drivers and pedestrians. Lamps are mounted or integrated to the front, rear, and sides of automotive vehicles. They provide visibility of the vehicle, allowing other drivers and pedestrians to see the presence, size, and direction of travel.
Recently, LEDs have been replacing incandescent lamps and are being used in headlights, tail lights, fog lights, day time running lamps and other applications. They often last the life of the vehicle, light up much faster, are compact in size, emit different colors, and supply more light per watt when compared to incandescent bulbs.
What We Do
We provide LampTest Systems that test LEDs and incandescent lamps which runs in tandem with other EOL tests. With an increasing number of automotive manufacturers offering LEDs as a replacement for incandescent bulbs, designing an End of Line (EOL) test for LEDs to be run with other EOL test has become vital. IST has designed a robust testing mechanism for verifying the continuity, functionality, and current draw of both LED and incandescent lamps.

The IST LampTest Software can be easily configured to account for current draw, voltage drop, and functionality problems. The hardware required to interface the LEDs or incandescent lamps with the Windows PC has is simple USB plug and play device.
